One day Cameron tried to make a (very weak) connection between the Maasai and the Scottish. Mostly because the traditional Maasai
shukas are plaid, as are traditional Scottish kilts. Other than that (and the age old question listed above) he didn't get very far.

I can't believe they let him take that photo!!!!
i was thinking the same. but they probably have a different sense of modesty. (and after all, they are men.)
They are men. And they live all together with women and children and animals in one room. In fact, sometimes the children have trouble sleeping alone (or only 2 in a twin bed)in a boarding school setting because they are so used to having people around. Privacy and space issues are definitely different from our own.
I know this because whenever we head out in the direction of the game parks, we are almost always treated to the sight of a man taking a bucket bath not too far off the road. Full-frontal. Not the kind of nature scenes I look forward to!
