...but why do Chinese snowmen look like this?
What's with the pyramid body? They have lots of art and symbols that use the circle. Why not a standard 3 sphere snow body? Or am I being too ethnocentric? Discuss.

I saw a photo of a snowman in the UK that was the same shape as that - with the explanation that it was 'the wrong kind of snow' for making good snowmen and this was the best they could manage! Maybe that was the case over there too? Or maybe someone was trying to be creative! Was there more than one snowman this shape?
Al Am, we saw a lot of these kinds of snowmen. In our compound, where we have a lot of foreigners (including Westerners) we saw more of the traditional snowmen.
