I Knew It. (Blog #10 11/10/08)

Just reading a forum on a popular Beijing website about dream places to visit. All the usual--Tahiti, Egypt, African safari, etc. Plus some I'd never heard of. But five--count 'em--FIVE--times, what came up?








Glacier National Park.


I'm just sayin'.

It takes 2 days. We've done a 16 hour drive on day 1 and then a 5-6 hour drive on day 2. Most sane people would do 2 more moderate days.

We go to Fargo, then across No. Dak., then cut up to Hwy 2 after we get into Montana. My good friend stays on the interstate through Montana through Billings, Bozeman, etc. If you go that way, you can stop along the way in Montana for things to see. If you go our way (through Havre) there's nothing really to do or see--but our focus is just getting back home asap so we don't much care about that. I would recommend EVERY SINGLE PERSON visit Glacier.

But not all at once.
